Data Deletion

Last updated: June 3, 2026
Operator: Loopdax LLC (a Kansas limited liability company)
Contact: Bryan Kichler, Member — [email protected]

If you've contacted Loopdax or submitted a form on loopdax.com, you can request that we delete the information we hold about you. This page explains how.

What data we hold about you

Depending on how you've interacted with Loopdax, we may store:

  • What you submitted on the website: your name, dealership (optional), email, mobile number, and whether you opted in to SMS
  • Messages you've sent us and any replies you received
  • Your phone number, Facebook user ID, or Instagram user ID, depending on the channel you used
  • Timestamps and message metadata
  • Any opt-out preference you've expressed

See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:

  • How you contacted us (the website form, SMS, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram)
  • Your phone number, email, Facebook username or profile URL, or Instagram handle — whichever you used
  • A short statement that you're requesting deletion of your data

We don't require a specific form — a plain-language email with the information above is enough.

You can also opt out without deleting your data. Reply STOP to any SMS from Loopdax, or block our account on Facebook or Instagram. Opt-out is immediate; deletion is a separate request handled by email.

What happens next

We'll respond within 30 days to confirm your request and complete the deletion. In most cases we complete it within a few business days. Once deleted, we remove:

  • Your message history with us
  • What you submitted through the website form
  • Your contact identifier (phone number, email, Facebook user ID, or Instagram user ID) and associated metadata

What we have to keep

Some records cannot be deleted because law requires us to retain them:

  • Opt-out records. If you've replied STOP or otherwise opted out of messaging, we keep that record indefinitely. The opt-out record exists specifically to honor your choice to not receive future messages — deleting it would risk re-contacting you, which we're not willing to do.
  • Records required by legal process. If we receive a valid subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request that requires retention of specific data, we comply with the order.

An opt-out record contains only the minimum needed to enforce the opt-out — typically your contact identifier and the date — and is never used for any purpose other than blocking outbound messages to you.

Data we don't control

Messages to and from Loopdax travel through third-party platforms — a CPaaS provider for SMS, Meta for Facebook Messenger and Instagram. Those platforms retain their own copies of message content under their own policies. To request deletion of messages held by those platforms directly:

  • Facebook and Instagram messages: Use Meta's data deletion tools at facebook.com/help
  • SMS messages: Contact your mobile carrier; our CPaaS provider retains messages per their privacy policy

We can delete the copy held by Loopdax. The copy held by the platform is governed by that platform's policies.

Verifying your request

To prevent someone else from requesting deletion of your data, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the contact identifier — for example, by replying from the same phone number, Facebook account, or Instagram account that was used in the original conversation. This is a quick sanity check, not a barrier.
